About

Hi, I’m Parker.

I’m currently transitioning from female to male, FTM, and have found it to be the most difficult and challenging experience of my life. I am sharing my experiences in hope that they can help other people understand gender, sexuality, and general personal identities in a better way.

Most people are scared and wary of what they do not understand, and this can lead to a lot of people who are different from “the norm” being really hurt. With more people making their experiences of being transgender public, more people can will have the opportunity to be informed leading to more acceptance and support for all of us!

If you are new to the world of gender identity, trans people, or just aren’t sure where to start, I recommend the basics. It’s a quick, basic rundown of gender, sex, and what being transgender is.

Enjoy my stream-of-consciousness blog, if you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to contact me!

  1. Hi Parker,

Just wondering how you are doing? Me and my family have been thinking about you lately and I just want to reach out and say that I would love for the opportunity to reconnect with you.

Look forward to hearing from you.

    With Love,

    Jocelyn

  2. Hi, Parker. I just wanted to leave a note and I dearly hope you aren’t bothered by me being on your blog or messaging you–if so, let me know and I’ll never try to contact you again. My (chosen) name is Jonah. You knew me growing up; I was a member of the same religious community as you and attended meetings with you. For the last few years I have been struggling with my gender and sexuality too and, though I’ve distanced myself from religion, find myself continually struggling with my childhood and those ties. I don’t have a huge point in messaging you, I just wanted to thank you for having this blog as an outlet; it definitely makes me feel less alone in where I am. And I want to apologize to you for how others have treated you. I wish it didn’t have to be like this. I wish there was more love. Thank you for listening, I know it’s not a lot 🙂 I hope that you are doing well!
